This magnesium-aluminum alloy (5% Mg) is designed for alloys of the Aluminum Association 3000 and 5000 series designations. The magnesium in the weld improves the strength which can result in higher joint strengths. Suitable for applications with operating temperatures below 304°F/150°C that require higher strength.
