A triple de-oxidized mild steel TIG rod with a copper flash for corrosion resistance, an excellent choice for welding mild and medium carbon steels. Used with pure argon, the weld will be sound on clean or lightly rusted steel. The formation of “glass” puddles is normal on slightly rusted metal.
