• Ball in tip of fitting keeps out dirt and foreign matter
• Enlarged inner passage admits more lubricant and helps cut time on important lubrication jobs
• Balanced action spring retracts easily to allow maximum lubricant flow under pressure, yet holds ball firmly in sealing position at all other times
• Better coupler connection – perfect spherical shape of base allows coupler jaws to form leakproof seal, even at a wide angle
• Easy installation – all threads accurately machine cut
• Fitting body made of special hardened steel for long life
• Accepts all standard makes of hydraulic couplers
Drive type grease fittings are designed for fast production line installation in untapped holes to avoid thread tapping costs. The hole size and shank dimensions are for reference use only. Test applications should be conducted to determine the correct hole size, which varies depending on the type and hardness of the metal. Drive type grease fittings have a serrated shank, which facilitates the substitution of damaged grease fittings in old or oversize holes. Although they grip securely, they are recommended only for low and medium pressures.
