Chicago-style, quick-acting, economical, universal coupling system. Used for connecting jackhammer and other high-volume hoses. Barb-style coupling permits easy field assembly and repair. Use of a safety clip or wire-type retainer is required for safety (clip provided).
• OSHA Standard 29CFR, 926.302(b)(1) requires that pneumatic tools be secured to the hose or whip by positive means to prevent accidental disconnection
• Use of band-style clamps, crimped ferrules or interlocking clamps is suggested (see specific fitting recommendations on individual hose pages)
• Not permitted for use with steam service
• Operating pressure: 150 PSI
